Description
Vegan Sour Trahanas is the “crunchy” pasta. An ancient recipe that still holds an important place in every greek household. Usually made out of grain and fermented milk or yogurt. Laid for days on clean sheets to dry. This one is totally vegan made with only water. Trahanas can be cooked as a thick soup by adding it to stock, water, or milk, and simmering. Alternatively, it may be fried and then cooked in only as much liquid as it will absorb. Greek trahanas can be either sour or sweet.
Trahanas Chatzi is homemade with the traditional recipe.
