Axia (2017) is a dry Greek red 50% Syrah, 50% Xinomavro wine that will leave you speechless. Vinified and aged for 12 months in Allie oak casks medium to light toast and 12-15 months in bottle. Juicy rich and expressive this wine would make you think it’s from anywhere but Amyndeon, Greece! Deep purple-red in color and with a full body. Hints of blackberry combined with a complex, typical bouquet of spices (vanilla, pepper, clove). Full mouth, with vanilla aroma, rounded tannins, balanced acidity, and wood tones. It has a long aftertaste with an intense quince aroma.
